Family Drama
As the holiday time
comes to mind.
I am not looking
forward to it.
It’s because during
last Christmas.
My family had an
argument.
It caused great
tension and despair.
I shouted the words,
I don’t care.
And now we all have
doubt.
We don’t believe
things will work out.
Am I seeing the
glass half empty?
Does it need to be
filled?
What will happen to
my loved ones?
Will I choose to
forgive?
Thanksgiving is
perfect for this.
I can connect with
my family again.
I will find a
solution that’s positive.
Releasing anger is a
better way to live.

Where are you my one?
I
can see you
Your
image is in my head
We
met in my dreams
Although
we’ve never met
I
can envision your beauty
In
many ways it turns me on
I
feel this so strong
This
feeling can’t be wrong
I
can picture us together side by side
You’re
everything to me, my heart is open wide
I
can see us talking about so many things
I
can see us picking out our wedding rings
You’re
the one for me and I am for you
The
spark we feel gives away the clues
When
I’m around you, I can’t help but smile
You
complete me; I want us to have a child
The
love that we feel it is so rare
The
passion that we feel makes our eyes glare
When
we finally meet, this will be our truth

Self-Control
Self-control can be a long
journey
Sometimes going one way,
sometimes going another
When the energy becomes so
strong
Sustaining on the road can be
long
The path to self-control is
continuous
The never ending phase
creates experience
For when you’ve mastered one
level and your rest is on the way
Another wave of obstacles interrupts
your day
Then you realize you have
more learning to do
You can’t fool self-control
even if you tried too
For right when you think it
no longer holds you
You will find that thinking
is not so true
I would be safe to speak a doctrine
full of instructions
On how to maintain and keep
from self-destructing
The first lesson of lessons would
be
For you to focus on you and I
on me
For when we focus on edifying
ourselves
We will truly be on that road
to excel
Then I would say what is next
is to learn some wisdom
For he who is wise will pay
real close attention
And the wise will listen and apply
what they’ve learned
But the fool will treat the
knowledge as if it’s absurd
So why reject the things that
will quench your thirst
With the right kind of power,
your fate will be reversed
For the faith unbound is one
that can’t be tamed
Starting from within is how
you will be changed
This is truly a blessing and
a real new beginning
There will be no regressing, there
will be no ending
So the rest of the lessons will
be learned through fate
For sometimes our experience
is the only true way
So I wish you much success as
your battle unfolds

Beginning to Fall

Beginning To Fall
We had just had a fight
Both of us were fuming and mad
We decided to talk
We expressed the feelings we had
We talked about how we felt
Then as we were sitting in the car
We both were trying not to look at each other
Have we taken things too far?
And then something happened
We grabbed each other’s hand
We both broke down
And expressed our romance
I told you how I felt
And you did the same
You told me I was a piece of you
And in your heart I’ll always remain
I couldn't match the power
Of what you said with your words
But I felt the same as you did
I knew we were still in love
But our circumstances changed
And staying together created unrest
We needed to end based on logic
Separating was for the best
I didn't want to us end
We both still loved each other with our all
Why did life do this to us?
At that time, we were beginning to fall

Reconnecting to Your Energy
It’s been a long time
Since I've heard your voice
You were on my mind
Reconnection was a possible choice
You contacted me out of the blue
It was sudden out of thin air
I don’t know what to think of you
Do I want to take it there?
We decided to meet up
To see how our energies would sync
I thought I was over you
But now all these feelings are coming over me
I don’t want to be stupid and rush into this
I don’t want to repeat our past
I want to get to know you like a first date
Maybe we can take a different path
I’m open to reconnecting
As long as the bad things don’t repeat
We both had some growing to do
Is this the right time for you and me?

This Love is Taking Over Me

This Love is Taking Over Me
I’ve been sitting here all alone
Just thinking about you coming home
It’s only been a few hours since we’ve touched
But baby my heart is missing you so much
It’s hard to concentrate with my time
I can’t get you off my mind
I’m thinking about what you said when you were leaving
You admitted being in love and there was no questioning
It shocked me because I was thinking the same thing
I’m ready for you to move in; I want to give you a ring
Although you have your home and I have mine
You’re always over here all the time
We’re like a married couple with the way that we act
I always look forward to you coming back
Your clothes are here and it’s like you’ve moved in
You’ll be back tonight and I can’t wait until then
This love is taking over me
Is this real or is this a dream?
Our emotions come so intensely
I want you right here, next to me
When we’re together I feel so free
But when we’re apart it’s hard to sleep
The feelings are mutual I do understand
I’m going to do my best to be a good man
